Tour the United Nations on October 19
Faculty members Jayne Battye and Kudzai Zvoma will lead a bus trip to the United Nations in New York City on Friday, October 19.
The bus departs the Danielson campus at 6 am, stopping at the Willimantic Center at 6:30 am. The UN tour is scheduled for 11:15 am. There will be free time afterwards to explore New York City. Participants must be back on the bus by 5:30 pm before it departs at 6 pm.
Tickets are $25 for QVCC students and $35 for all others, and include the cost of the UN group tour. Priority ticket sales to students will run from September 4-28. Others may purchase tickets starting October 1. Tickets are available at the Danielson bookstore and the Willimantic front desk. Purchase tickets by October 10.
Children must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.
