Teaching Career Information Session Will be Held at QVCC (11/5/12)
A Teaching Career Information Session, designed for people thinking about entering the teaching profession, will be held at Quinebaug Valley Community College’s Danielson campus on Tuesday evening, Nov. 13, starting at 5:30 pm. The session is open to anyone interested in learning how to become a teacher and will provide information on early childhood, elementary, and secondary teaching.
Presenters for the Traditional Route to teaching careers will include Sue Spencer, Cindy Shirshac, and Denise Walsh from QVCC and Dr. Ann Anderberg from Eastern Connecticut State University. The presenter for the Alternative Routes to teacher certification for bachelor degreed mid-career professionals will be Maria Kot-Davoodi from the Connecticut Department of Higher Education.
